The 263-page publication brings together talks and essays from a conference of the same name. Organized by ZKM karlsruhe & HfG Karlsruhe. As part of a series initiated by the two institutions, the format follows the predecided 20 x 33,5 cm.
Full-page illustrations accompany the 11 texts. The drawings form their own language which summarizes each chapter visually and adds to the reading rhythm. The meaning of each drawing is listed in an index at the beginning of the publication.
The bilingual character of the texts is mirrored in the layout and varies for each single text.
